Dark Sky Event: Summer Solstice

The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection invites you to a special early summer dark sky event to see the wonders of our summer night sky. Beginning at 8:45 PM (just after sunset at 8:40 PM), this evening offers excellent viewing conditions with minimal moonlight interference. June's transparent skies provide perfect conditions for observing globular clusters, nebulae, and the magnificent summer Milky Way.

The event takes place in designated park areas as described in our Dark Sky Park Protocol. No pre-registration is required. Weather cancellations will be posted on the park website.
