Late Spring Night Sky Viewing

As late spring constellations rise in our night sky, join fellow astronomy enthusiasts at Rappahannock County Park for exceptional stargazing. With the new moon providing excellent darkness, this evening offers ideal conditions for spotting spring galaxies and star clusters. The session begins after sunset (8:24 PM) in the park's designated stargazing areas.

Registration is required at least 24 hours in advance - submit your completed registration form to rappdarkskies@gmail.com. All participants must follow our Dark Sky Park Protocol, including staying in designated areas (gravel parking lot, pavilion area, and asphalt pad near shuffleboard/cornhole facilities). This is a self-guided observation evening - bring your own telescopes or binoculars and enjoy our internationally recognized dark skies. Weather cancellations will be communicated to all registrants.
